Los Angeles Lakers- Half time/Full time double @ 1.52

The Lakers are looking mighty fine to start the season. Since losing their first game, they have won 5 of their last 6. LeBron James has continued to defy expectations in his 18th season, leading in scoring (23.6) and assists (7.4) for the Lakers. The Lakers have led at half-time in 5 of their games this season, and they have gone on to win all of them. Although the odds are short, against a depleted Memphis side without Morant and Jackson Jr, I expect the Lakers to put forth a performance similar to their most recent 14 point win against the same side.

Denver Nuggets to win by 7 or more @ 1.39

The Nuggets have gotten off to a slow start to kick off the season, sitting on a 2-4 record with losses to the Suns, Clippers and Kings. They got back to their winning ways against the Wolves, and this matchup provides a huge opportunity for the Nuggets to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Murray returned to his stellar bubble form, dropping 36 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists from 65% shooting, whilst Jokic continued his impeccable start, putting up another triple double and taking his season averages up too 22.3 points, 11.2 rebounds and 12.8 assists. Minnesota have struggled without their best player in Towns, with many teams putting all of their defensive efforts into Russell, who is averaging less points, less rebounds and less assists from last season. The Nuggets should win this game convincingly.

Chicago Bulls +10.5 @1.83

Chicago have been wildly inconsistent this season, losing 3 of their 4 games by 19+ margins, however they have also had some quality games, beating the Wizards and Mavericks (without Doncic), and losing to the Warriors courtesy of a Damion Lee game-winner. LaVine put up all star numbers once again (39 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) in their 10 point win over Dallas, and will be pivotal in any chance they have against Portland. Portland should win this match, but I don’t expect Chicago to roll over, making $1.83 for the line a juicy proposition.
