FLEMINGTON R1 #1 GENERAL BEAU $2.25
Won very well on debut and still looks the best two-year-old going around at the moment. Next best for exotics. #8 VINLAGO won a jump-out untested. #11 FAKE LOVE also travelled well in a recent jump-out.
FLEMINGTON R2 #5 PORTLAND SKY $8.10
Debut win was stylish after jumping out well on a few occasions. Forgiving the last start run at Caulfield, did not have the best of luck in the straight.
RANDWICK R2 #4 ENTHAAR $1.76
Loved her trial. She moved very well and looked to ooze class when winning. Looking forward to watching her step out. Next best and including in the exacta is #12 TOTAL BABE, looked to have a nice action.
MORPHETVILLE R2 #5 AMURI $3.55 #10 MAYSHESTAR $5.40
Amuri was jumping out well enough for a maiden before the debut. Stable must have a decent opinion of her to go straight to town in a stakes race. This looks easier. Danger looks the stablemate MAYSHESTAR who ran well on debut and can figure in the finish with a repeat effort.
MURTOA R2 #11 RONNIEJAY #2 GOTTALUVJIMMY
RONNIEJAY looks to have come back a better horse this time in after being gelded. Recently travelled well in a Cranbourne jump-out and Lindelani was off the bit trying to keep up. Also backing GOTTALUVJIMMY who has jumped out with a bit of style on a couple of occasions. Include #10 Tideway in exotics has some ability.
MURTOA R3 #3 SCORCH THE TURF
Rider said he did not handle the track on debut. Gets a heap of gear changes and deserves another chance.
WAGGA R1 #7 MONGOLIAN BRAVE $4.55
Interesting trial looked to be under a hold the entire time. Might come up big odds and worth a small each way bet. Surely will drift on race day.
