WYONG R1  #6   ALUMNA  $2.25     #1   KUTAYHA

Alumna looks the one to beat. Third start and should be getting a good fitness base, contested a good maiden last start and trials suggested above average ability. Ran well first couple of starts when in Victoria. Not sure how good he is going this preparation but can run 2nd.

WYONG R4 #6 BIG HAPPINESS  $11.20 #8 KECK $16.40

This colt bolted in at his first trial, winning by 7L.  Skye Banner and Midland finished behind and both have won a race. The next trial he finished 3rd but it was behind the handy Oxford Tycoon. Most recent trial was against horses again much better than maiden grade and he should run a big race on debut. If they go too hard up in front, I think #8 KECK can finish off strong, been making good ground late in trials. Including #1 Faethm and #10 in exotics.

WYONG R8 #5  KNIGHT $3.55

Loved the recent trials. Looks ready to go first up and with the inside draw will take catching.

GEELONG R3 #4  TUFFASK $15.20

Recent trial was good enough. Looked strong late going past Red Heeler. Should be warming up late and is good each way odds. Next best #10 Sarodec was well backed on debut but was up against a handy one. Much better placed to win here.

GEELONG R4 #6 LITERATI $18.80

Hardly tested in a jump-out behind Renouf and Rue Royale. Worth something each way.

GEELONG R5 #7 TIPPITYWICHIT $16.40

Was not beaten far first up. Can go forward here and give them something to catch with the extra fitness under the belt.

GEELONG R8  #7  MAXAWAY $12.20  #9  MARKETING $13.20

Maxaway had to share the win last time out but is a horse that is going to appreciate the rise in distance. MARKETING won well first up and looks to have come back well after always showing ability at the jump-outs.

SHA TIN R1  #5  MARVELOUS FANS   #1  PEGASUS GLORY

Marvelous Fans was orgially called Bangin Heads when in Australia. Made good ground in jump-outs and looked good enough in a trial. Was under the care of Payne. PEGASUS GLORY caught the eye late in a NSW trial and ran well first up.
