ARARAT R1
#3 SHINE THE WAY may have some ability. Led easy early in one jump-out. Won beating Reward the Maid and was strong after the line, have to respect stable. #4 Burgundy Rules looked to be under a hold in a jump-out. #7 Rock of Kryptonite has been costly but has to go in exotics. #8 Scorch the Turf was okay, crossing the line in a jump-out with Amorosity and La Café. Last but not least #15 Rose Cuvee looks limited but can run a drum for the exotics.
ARARAT R2
A few that have looked okay in jump-outs at some stage. #4 Spirit of the Cape. Blinkers and gelded could spark some improvement. #2 Jacob looks limited but could be still learning what its all about. #5 Yoshi Mokuyo obviously had issues and is very lightly raced but shown a bit and is included in all exotics. Last but not least #9 Selfie Road can hopefully run a drum fresh at big odds and put some value in the Tri and F4’s.
ARARAT R3 #1 A REPORT
New stable has scratched a few times so possibly looking for the right race. Recently looked to jump-out at Bendigo with stablemate Monetizing and was not disgraced.
ARARAT R8 #5 DIAMOND THORA
Finally, she got a bit of luck last time out and ran well when dead heating for 1st. I think the other horse she shared the win with is above average.
GRAFTON R4 #1 GILLICK’S WAY #2 GOLD KING $4.35
Looks a good quinella bet. Only a matter of time before Gillick knocks over a maiden and Gold King was good on debut at big odds.
