GOULBURN R3 #1 DEEP CRYSTAL
Bolted in first up from a spell when winning by 4L. Can win again and end up in town at some stage.
GOULBURN R4 #3 INZAGHI
Been very consistent when trained in Victoria but unable to breakthrough for that win. Has some ability and seen plenty moved on and improve once changing hands and a change of environment. #2 Egyptian Missile has always showed some ability in trials.
GOUBURN R5 #6 COMMANDING MISSILE
Won well on debut after looking in a bit of trouble during the straight. Showed a good turn of foot and looks suited up in distance.
GOULBURN R6 #2 CLIFFS OF MOHER #5 CAN DO IT
CLIFFS trialled up well before the debut at Kembla. Was always towards the tail and the jockey did not overly test him in the straight. The 2nd placed horse has since won and I think the extra distance will help. CAN DO IT recently trialled up well, looking strong late against some nice types, including Prague and Ole Kirk.
GOULBURN R7 #4 DIORISSIMA
Another Jean Dubois runner that looks to have improved after a spell. The grey filly was always towards the tail of the field but Glen Boss had her under a good hold and I felt she could have finished much closer to the front pack if he had of let her go. Will also be having something on #5 Still Reigning, not beaten far in both starts this prep.
I am not sure if they both like the winning post, but they find a very very weak maiden. I would be shocked if they could not run the quinella here. They may even try and dead heat.
SWAN HILL R2 #17 TRUMPHOUSE $4.85
Not sure if he will run with the wide barrier. Trialled well here before heading off overseas and put in some absolute shockers over there. Interesting that he has come back here to race and has jumped out well to suggest he still has some ability. Most recently he beat Pal D’oro by a big margin without getting out of first gear. Would love to hear from the trainer first but I have already had a decent bet. Next best #3 Krispy Kev has always shown a bit in jump-outs and ran well on debut behind a smart one. #7 Flash Freddie bumped into a smart one on debut and went better 2nd up. Last but not least I will be including #13 New Echelon and #15 Squazeemoto in some wide boxed exotics.
Recent jump-out of The Danger Zone was decent. He was under a hold and the jump-out included a few that go okay, including Bellows and Able Engine. Would not shock to see improvement from SOBRIETY on a dry track.
SWAN HILL R6 #8 MR RAIKKONEN $3.10
A colt that looks progressive. He bolted in last start and can definitely go through the grades. This is not strong.
