West Coast Eagles V St Kilda
West Coast Eagles to win @ 2.24
The Eagles will start this match as underdogs as a result of their mounting injury list. However, it is not all doom and gloom as they will regain Naitanui, Hurn and Petrucelle amongst others.
$2.25 for the Eagles is huge value given that despite their injury list, the team they are putting forward is very solid, with Naitanui, Kelly, Gaff patrolling the midfield. McGovern, Barrass, Hurn locking down the defence and Kennedy and Darling roaming the forward 50.
I think Eagles should be clear favourites in this matchup against a Saints outfit that struggled to put away the Hawks and lost to Melbourne in their last two games.
Carlton V Adelaide
Carlton to win @ $1.43
Blues fans will be delighted to hear that there is still a mathematical chance for them to make finals, barring other results. However, they must win their last two matches and so this match against the Crows looms as their most important this year.
They managed to hang on against after a Cotterell game winner with Sam Walsh having arguably his best game in his short career with 25 disposals going at 84% efficiency and 10 score involvements.
The Crows have strung together two in a row, making their price under-inflated of what they are capable of, presenting real value for Carlton
Geelong V Richmond
Geelong HT/FT Double @ $2.10
The Cats are heading into this game as favourites against the reigning premiers, and for good reason after demolishing Essendon and winning 7 of their last 8 games.
A win here will put them in the top two, and they are likely to be buoyed by some big inclusions in Rohan, Selwood, Stanley, Steven and Tuohy as they finalise their preparations for their finals campaign.
Richmond are not to be underestimated, but the Cats are just travelling too strongly at the moment.
