MORNINGTON R2 #4  BROOKLYN HEAT $16.40   #7  MISS INBETWEEN $3.85

MISS INBETWEEN looks the one to beat. She ran 2nd to Sense of Honour on debut and also finished behind the very promising Swats That at Bendigo. The spell looks to have done her well, she recently jumped out well with some nice types including Toyetic and Lunakorn. If she finds some trouble, then BROOKLYN HEAT is worth a few dollars eachway at the bigger odds. She has jumped out okay with plenty of jump-outs so should be well educated for the debut.

MORNINGTON R3 #1  ART MAJOR  $20.00  #8  MAGNITA $121.00

Art Major has not done much wrong and is still lightly raced. He finished 2nd to Melarita, and that galloper is well above average. He beat home Zee Rebel at Cranbourne, that gelding has subsequently won a couple of races. Blinkers on here, looks way over the odds. MAGNITA is struggling to find any form but has jumped out ok on a few occasions so would not shock to see improve, very small saver.

MORNINGTON R4 #4 DAMASK ROSE  $11.40  #11  MYSTERIOUS ART $9.10

I thought DAMASK ROSE jumped out okay on the synthetic. She was niggled a little bit by the rider but went over the finishing line with Copper Fox. Copper Fox has subsequently won a benchmark 78. MYSTERIOUS ART contested some strong races in his first preparation and looks to have returned well. Both look well over the odds for mine.

WAGGA R3 #10  JAC MAGIC $14.80

Something small here. She did run last in the trial but did not appear to be asked for much of an effort and the trial was won by Sunrise Ruby who looks progressive. Far from confident but I think she may blow right out in the market and might be worth a couple dollars each way with no weight.

WAGGA R8  #7   PROMESA $6.60

PROMESA has always shown he would be capable of knocking off a maiden somewhere. Given plenty of time and recent trial against a few winners was good enough for this. PACKER’S BOND can win, run well on debut and beat the 3rd horse by a margin.
