Both look like they have some upside. Moeen loomed as a winning chance in the straight, last start at Pakenham when stepping up to benchmark 64 grade but fitness gave out late. Fitter here. LUISELLI has always jumped out well enough to suggest she would win a few races. Now she has broken through, she may have gained some confidence.
SANDOWN R5 #6 SAHAR $23.00
Ex Kiwi who jumped out well against a few stablemates before the Sandown race. He looked good late going past Modear and Clever Cut. Sandown run was a pass mark, not many made ground in the straight and he lost a off-hind plate in the run.
MURRAY BRIDGE R2 #9 SWEET MINSKY $23.50
Ex Victorian who was showing some level of ability at the Flemington jump-outs. Subsequently been passed on to new connections and first up South Australian run was bit more promising, running 3rd, and looking strong through the line. Fitter and gets some weight relief with the claim.
MURRAY BRIDGE R3 #14 GHARAAM $2.15
I thought this filly travelled well enough in a recent Flemington jump-out down the straight. The jump-out included some nice types, including Beauty Betty and Power Station. Gets in here with a lightweight. Had a decent bet.
KENSINGTON R1 #10 STILL REIGNING $18.60
I thought the trial with Commanding Missile was good enough for a maiden. Ran well first up when running 2nd behind one that looks above average. Looks over the odds and worth something each way.
KENSIGNTON R2 #5 MALKOVICH $2.50
Been heavily backed and I can understand why. Only start was in a hot race and only felt the pinch late after racing on speed. Looks to be flying since coming back from a spell if the trials are any guide. If the colt can find the front, they will have a hard time catching him.
