BENDIGO R2 #11 SPIRITING $5.10

Nice race this one. Spiriting has jumped out well on a few occasions at Flemington. Most recently she crossed the line with a few that go well, including Reflectivity, Born a Warrior and Surooj. #2 ROCK OF KRYPTONITE looked to have some ability when in work last preparation but failed to bring it to the races, has jumped out well again this preparation, so goes in exotics. Also including #4 SOBRIETY in exotics, tongue tie goes on and recently jumped out with Jamaican Hurry and Drone strike.

BENDIGO R3 #2 BORN A WARRIOR  $1.64 #7  DIAMOND THORA $8.70

Born a Warrior placed in a couple of group races early in his career. Since going for a spell, he has been gelded and has jumped out very well this preparation and looks ready to win and race in much better grade. If he finds a bit of trouble DIAMOND THORA looks the danger. She has not been beaten far at both starts and looks to have come back really well, beating St Edwards Crown and handy stablemate Monetizing, recently in a Bendigo jump-out.

BENDIGO R6 #7 SOURTHERN LIGHTS $5.30

Come back really well this preparation. Finished behind a handy one first up. Won well last start by 2.3L on a heavy track at Warrnambool in good time. Can go through the grades.

DUBBO R3 #2 CHEVCONI $2.85

Looked to trial better than Spirit World at Randwick last preparation. Has since changed trainers but trialled up under a hold recently when going to Dubbo. Could be handy. Next Best at odds #12 FIGHTFORYOURRIGHT can forgive after facing heavy track first up.

CASTERTON R4 #5 LORD MINTY  $2.95   #12 STELLAR WITNESS $2.55

Backing the quinella.

Lord Minty stuck on really well when stepping up to the 1400m last start. Extra distance should help, and this looks a really weak race. STELLAR WITNESS was ok when stepping up to the 1600m for the first time at Murtoa. Can be a big improver back on to the dry after going around on the heavy 8 last time. Finds a weak maiden.

WAGGA R1 #11 SAINT HENRY $4.35

Ran well for a maiden galloper last start when contesting a class 1 at Leeton. The winner Crimson Hoffa goes fairly well.

WAGGA R3 #12 TSUNAMI ARMY $8.70

Put in a big finish at Pakenham two starts ago when big odds. The 2nd horse has subsequently won. Would be in the finish if produced that effort again. #5 PACKER’S BOND worth a saver, finished ok under riding in trial and The Lioness has since won on debut.
