CRANBOURNE R1 #12 MAKE IT LAST $93.00
I thought her jump-out when running 2nd to Oh Cecilia was okay for a weak maiden. She then looked a bit disappointing when running 11th of 14 on debut at Geelong but the 2nd and 3rd placed horses have subsequently franked the form by winning. Could improve at big odds.
CRANBOURNE R2 #10 AMINATU $10.00 BEST VALUE
This Filly won a jump-out under her own steam at Cranbourne, beating Cellbridge. She then won her most recent jump-out by a margin when asked for an effort in the straight, beating Imagine Howe. Should run a big race on debut. Had to also be impressed with the way #7 NIGHTFIRE worked home on debut, will appreciate the step up in distance.
CRANBOURNE R3 #7 EMERALD CROWN $2.95 BEST BET
Split Tooradin and Sky Horse at Sandown Lakeside. Tooridan has subsequently won a couple of races and Sky Horse has been going around in group company. Earmuffs come off, suggest racing manners may have improved during the break and looks hard to beat here.
CRANBOURNE R8 #14 GOOD AND PROPER $11.20
Looked good breaking through last start when getting back to the turf at Echuca. Rise in distance should help and is good each way odds.
Been with every start and no point dropping off now. Let the leader sneak away on debut and still worked home well enough. The winner blocked him, when he tried to make a run on the fence last start and the figures from the race were good. Hard to beat. TINY made good ground from the back on debut, running the fastest last 200m of the race. Drops 1kg and can settle in a more forward position.
