CRANBOURNE R1 #4 MIRACLE DAY $7.10

I thought this two-year-old gelding ran well on debut at Geelong when finishing 2nd to Supreme Idea. Supreme Idea went on to win a listed race at Randwick two starts later. Forget he went around at his second start, he was putting on a rodeo display, shortly after they jumped and pulled up with a slow recovery. He jumped out well before the debut with Scorpius and most recently jumped out well at Caulfield when going to the front under his own steam. I have a lot of time for #8 BOMBAY ROCKET she went painfully close at Flemington on debut when carrying my money, running 2nd to A Beautiful Night and was good again when running 2nd behind Aquagirl. #10 ESTA LA ROCA jumped out well before the debut at Cranbourne, was only collared late and should improve fitness wise.

CRANBOURNE R3 #6 TOVOLO GAP $5.40

This Savabeel filly was unlucky when first up this preparation. She was moving into the race well before being held up and looking to clip heels but still managed to run 2nd. Second up she bumped into Cabinho who then subsequently ran well in town. Running 4th in that race was Queen of Tarts, that filly has since run 2nd at Caulfield in a strong race. She finally broke the maiden status last start and I think she can keep improving up in distance.

ROUGHIE

CRANBOURNE R6 #10 ADDRESS MELBOURNE $43.00

Interesting placement here. Chucking the maiden horse into the benchmark 64. I thought he jumped out okay before his debut when crossing the line with La Zola, Mach one and Takatoka. He then beat home Ronnani in heavy rain at the next jump-out. Forget he went around on debut, he was being restrained early, sat wide for the trip and the saddle also slipped.

HAPPY VALLEY R3  #4 SELL MY SOLE

As mentioned before, trialled well here in Aus. Went much better last start when running 2nd and was only defeated by a narrow margin.
