NOWRA  R4 #4  ATTESTAR  $11.00 #8 POCKET MISSILE $12.80

Both gallopers were in the same trial back in November last year and there was not much between them. There were a couple that go alright behind them, including Express Princess and the smart Colette. POCKET MISSILE looked to go ok against gallopers that have already won races in the latest trial, including Innisbrook and Snippy Fox.

I think she is a filly with a bit of a future. She finally broke through last start when stepping up in distance. The form from the race has been franked with the runner up, Triskana winning her next start.

Looking back, I think this filly trialled well enough at Newcastle behind Paavo. I do not usually like when they are ridden in trials, but the winner was under riding too and has subsequently won a maiden. The 4th placed horse has also won a maiden since. She has resumed this preparation, making ground in a trial at Scone, that trial was won by a recent Highway winner at Randwick. Forgive the run on debut, they went fast early and she may not have handled the heavy going, she finished alongside Hustled who has since been to the races and won.

He went into the trial black book in April last year. He looked to travel well in that trial and was not far off Just a Bullet who is a handy galloper on his day. The first preparation was disappointing, but he has had plenty of time to improve and looks to have come back in good order. He recently matched motors in a trial with Golden Avenger. Dangers look to be #8 MINIFINN who has trialled up nicely under her own steam and #9 NOW OR NEVER who I am sure has ability but has not shown it race day yet.

Forgive the last run at Wyong. I am fairly sure you had to be on the rail that day to win and there were some pretty poor runs out wide. The form lines before that read well for this. Danger looks to be #2 CONTANGO will be fitter for the first up run and the race rated well on the clock for a maiden.

A few chances here. AUTUMN HOUSE travelled well in a recent jump-out at Flemington. It was the fastest heat of the morning and she travelled better than Jay Gatsby who has subsequently run 2nd on debut. DELUSIONAL travelled well in a jump-out that included some types that have run well since, including Free Flying Star and Magnus Que Cee who went close to winning today. SAPEIRO went around unnamed in a jump-out behind the smart debut winner Pinkham. She then was not tested in the next jump-out and caught the eye. I thought TARANTELLO did a good job in her most recent jump-out, she was up against open class gallopers and did not look out of place. Blinder was ridden along. Playing the exotics with those runners. Exacta, Trifecta, First 4.

I was keen on Miltida last start when she was on debut at Echuca. I thought her jump-out at Ballarat was very good and fair to say I had a good go at the $15 that went up. That is when the overs god stepped in and spoiled the party, not just for me but a few others. I think her condition maybe gave out over the concluding stages there and she should strip fitter here and hopefully get some of that cash back. LUNCHTIME RED jumped out well at Bendigo prior to his debut. I think he bumped into a smart one there at Bendigo and he should knock off a maiden soon.
