SANDOWN-HILLSIDE R1 #3  MISS BOSETTI $6.30

Good to see her finally breakthrough last start at Mornington. I thought she showed good fight there to knuckle down and nab Euphoric Summer on the line. I believe a repeat performance of that effort would see her in the finish again and is still each way odds.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE R2 #3  THE NATURAL $3.25

This filly was very impressive when breaking her maiden status at Morphettville. She was not overly tested late but still won by 2.8L. The third placed horse Hypercane has since franked the form by winning his next two starts and finishing 2nd to the inform Persan recently at Flemington. She looks to have come back in good order if the recent jump-outs are any guide and will be hard to beat if she can roll forward and give them something to catch.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE R8 #13  HEYINGTON STATION $7.70

I might be mad giving this gelding one more chance. He has been very costly to my pocket and looked plain when running third last start as a $2.50 fav. I do believe he has the ability there and the drop in weight down to the 57kg might do the trick, along with a few gear changes. The fact he is eachway odds today also helped lure me in.

MURRAY BRIDGE R3 #13   REAL REASON $4.45

My first notes read, went to the line under a big hold but unsure of the opposition. That was when this two-year-old was unnamed. When named he has jumped out at Pakenham in May and was not tested when finishing not far behind stablemate Turquoise Hope. That galloper ran third on debut yesterday, but the stable did say they had a high opinion of the horse.

CANTERBURY R3 #3 GLOBAL QUEEN $2.55

I thought her latest trial was a real eye-catcher. She went forward and looked to be under her own steam the whole trip with the opposition ridden to keep up. James Mcdonald staying aboard also looks to be a good lead.

INTERNATIONAL

HAPPY VALLEY R1 #5  SELL MY SOLE

I tipped him on debut at Sha Tin after he had looked good in a trial back here in Australia. Deserves another chance after given time to improve and was not put under any pressure in a recent trial.

HAPPY VALLEY R5 #3  SUNNY AND GOLD

Formally known as Tulevik Pro in Australia. This Dream Ahead gelding was really catching my eye in the jump-outs and trials before leaving Australia. I noted he jumped and ran away from Express Pass in a jump-out and looked awesome in the official trial.
