Seymour R2 #7  TERRACE HOUSE $3.75

This son of Snitzel caught my eye when he jumped out at Camperdown back in April. He finished 3rd there, not far behind good Western Australian galloper Great Again. Back in 4th was Santelmo Fuego who has subsequently won a benchmark 70 at Warrnambool. The next jump-out was at Caulfield and although he was ridden hard late to pick up the opposition, he did respond to the riding and beat Sylvite who has subsequently broke her maiden status. He should be competitive here on debut. #2 HEADSMART is the blowout, looks ok on trackwork and gets the tongue tie on for the first time.

Wagga R1 #3  LADY BROOK $2.45

I think this filly showed enough at her only trial to win a weakish maiden here on debut. She led and won that trial at Leeton under her own steam and beat Diamond for Alice and Zaberfeldie, both those gallopers have already notched up wins. The way she was able to win that trial without being asked for an effort, should see her be able to run this race out over the same distance without fitness being an issue. #1 YULONG POWER is a big threat, has shown enough ability when in Victoria at the jump-outs to be competitive here. Has been gelded which could be the key and looks a good quinella play with Lady Brook.

Hawkesbury R2 #2 SPIRIT WORLD $2.20

She has contested a couple of strong maidens so far in her short career and this looks a bit weaker. Last start at Newcastle she only found the short-priced favourite too good, Perfect Radiance. With natural improvement she can definitely win her maiden today.

Pakenham R3 #3 MIDSHIPS  $1.92   Roughie #4  POWERFUL FLYER $19.20

MIDSHIPS has his hoof right on the till. The latest run at Werribee was good when finishing 2nd behind Sapphire Crown. He beat home Beerzinthesun there, a filly I have a bit of time for and the race rated well on the clock for maiden class.

POWERFUL FLYER the last jump-out at Cranbourne suggest he could run a cheeky race at odds. He went over the line with Bush Christmas, she has won a maiden. Behind was Chica Bonita and Fighting Whiskey, both have won a race. Have something eachway and include in your exotics.
