Sale R4  #4    MIGHTY MURT $45.00

I think this grey gelding is over the odds. When he jumped out at Cranbourne on the 20th of April, he was under some riding in the straight, but he responded and went to the finishing post with Out of Isolation. That gelding from the Greg Eurell stable has subsequently performed very well on debut and finished 2nd in town at Caulfield. The next jump-out was against older gallopers and he was far from disgraced. He finished 3rd behind Make it Count and Slick Back. Behind him was Southern Yankee who has since ran 3rd in a benchmark 70. The more I look at the race, the more I think he is huge overs.

Sale R6  #2   DESIGNER CHEF $7.50

He looks a progressive horse to me. He finally broke through last start at Cranbourne after being a runner up at his first two starts. I must admit I am surprised he is staying over the distance of 1200m, because he has looked like he would appreciate stepping up in distance. I am sure the trainer knows what he is doing though, and I am confident he is a horse who can progress through the grades.
