Racepal Rosehill Preview – 30th November 2019

Rail: True entire circuit
Weather: Sunny Friday, possible late showers/storm Saturday
Track Condition: Good 4
Track Expectations: The track had dried to a Good 4 by Friday morning, with further warm weather expected before race day. Expecting a fair surface, but watch for any inside bias with the rail back to the True.

Race 1

Muntaseera acquitted herself well on debut after a poor getaway. She is clearly the best of the raced and with better barrier manners may have too much for debutants Chilliwack and Avno Doubt.

Verdict: Muntaseera

Race 2

Two divisions of the Highway! Cassy’s Sister sets up a genuine tempo by going forward from barrier 15. Bullet Speed should take a sit, as he did on his winning debut, while Conspirator and Pauper are on the up.

Verdict: Bullet Speed

Race 3

Congregate comes through strong form lines for this and can make the tempo throughout. Princess Cordelia is a risk from barrier one but if she settles forward of midfield she’s in striking distance. Highway Sixtysix gets an awful barrier and could be a long way back.

Verdict: Congregate

Race 4

There was little between He’s A Hotshot and Coterie in a similar event at the Newcastle metro meeting. Barriers favour the former here, who should settle handily alongside Brazilica. Second up under Nash, the Hotshot should use the added fitness to see off the late challenge of Jen Rules.

Verdict: He’s A Hotshot

Race 5

Mansa Musa has the opportunity to press on from barrier 13 and control the tempo. Soft sectionals will make it hard for the likes of Invictus Salute and the late closing Kawaikini to catch him. Feel The Knight is in the mix from the draw.

Verdict: Mansa Musa

Race 6

House Of Cartier was very good third up and now steps to 2000m at the bottom of the weights.  She’s well placed in this. Taikomochi is third up as well and backing up from The Gong, should enjoy an uncontested lead.

Verdict: House Of Cartier

Race 7

At the prices on offer, Invincible Gem is worth a peanut each way. We’re banking on a positive ride from the wide draw but prior to her luckless effort last start she compiled a strong of top class performances. Bobbing can settle closer here and threaten late along with Moss Trip.

Verdict: Invincible Gem e/w

Race 8

A fresh Baller should roll along on the pace and give them something to think about. Glenall and Sandbar scored confidence boosting wins last start but this is a step up. Bon Amis is primed for a big run after catching the eye in The Hunter. No knock on Handle The Truth.

Verdict: Baller e/w

Race 9

A lack of genuine speed should give Reflectivity a soft time in front. Convinced flew home in his own age group at Newcastle and now meets the older horses with no weight. Miss Redoble’s kinder draw should allow her to keep plenty of juice in the tank for the finish.

Verdict: Convinced
