Racepal Warwick Farm Preview – 27th November 2019

Rail: True entire circuit
Weather: Possible Tuesday thunderstorm, sunny and warm Wednesday
Track Condition: Good 4
Track Expectations: The True rail at Warwick Farm provides for the fairest racing surface, but keep an eye on the skies should rain arrive late Tuesday.

Race 1

Just six 3YOs contesting the opener. Mr Mosaic and Just Field should lead – the former is unbeaten and carries a big weight, while the latter resumes after chasing home Libertini. Fiteuse did it tough behind Mr Mosaic while Sulking is 1/1. Market is key, with Just Field marginally on top.

Verdict: Just Field

Race 2

Loveseat relished the rise to 2400m last start and the only concern here is the 290m drop in trip. If it takes her too long to wind up, Californiafirebird may be able to skip away in front.

Verdict: Loveseat

Race 3

Three of seven are last start winners. Dorothy Of Oz not one of them but maps for a soft lead. This is a big jump in trip for her and she’ll be vulnerable to Starla late, who stepped up to this trip to win a maiden with authority last start. Bigboyroy won the colts division in slower time that day.

Verdict: Starla

Race 4

Miss Sure Shot, Saas Free and Tracy May all resume and should race on-pace. Tracy May chased Libertini and California Zimbol in her first prep and has the figures to win if ready first up. Lady Herbert resumed in a strong form race and will be in the finish as well.

Race 5: Tracy May

Race 5

The barrier draw hasn’t helped Super Longlea but the filly remained unbeaten after producing fast closing sectionals to win first up at Hawkesbury. If she doesn’t give the resuming Zaniah too big a head start she can finish over the top.

Verdict: Super Longlea

Race 6

Twentyfourcarat broke his maiden assertively first up and that race has stood up since. From a middle draw he can lob handy to prominent runners like Hit The Target, Snips and Vitesse and continue on his upward curve.

Verdict: Twentyfourcarat

Race 7

Hoping Johnny Roo Boy crosses over to set up a strong speed with Embracer, Katgully Red and Petronius. That will set this up nicely for the gelded Excellent Proposal, who resumes with an unbeaten record and plenty of upside. Just needs a little luck in running from an awkward draw.

Verdict: Excellent Proposal
