Rail: True entire
Weather: Cloudy
Track Condition: Good 4
Track Expectations: Clouds are expected to roll in over Kembla on Saturday but the may rain not arrive in time to affect the meeting. The track is Good and the rail True on an expansive track with a long straight.

Race 1

Five of the six are having their first start here. Mrs Maisel has talent but can’t afford to jump away awkwardly like she did in her trial. Found Our Thrill beat her home there while Destination has been sound in her jump outs. Market will be key.

Verdict: Mrs Maisel

Race 2

Many places to look in this Highway. Acquittal was sharply up in trip last time and enjoys a Soft draw. Peyton Place and Moss The Boss shouldn’t be working too hard on speed with Sneak Preview’s country form appearing strong. Little confidence.

Verdict: Acquittal

Race 3

Nordic was an eye-catching resumer at 1600m. A subsequent trial has him well prepared for 2000m here. He’ll be running on with last-start winner California Longbow, with Jazzland the one to catch.

Verdict: Nordic e/w

Race 4

Misteed is trialling like a bomb for his return. He’ll be coming from off the pace, as will the smart Lucicello, but she may be awkwardly placed from barrier three. Kylease gets an opportunity to improve from a soft draw, taking a sit behind wide-drawn pacemakers.

Verdict: Misteed

Race 5

A very even mile affair. Testashadow can lob just behind the speed from the pole marker and this is a drop in grade on his recent assignments. Fun Fact plummets further but the draw is awkward. Turnberry and Gresham are also well placed.

Verdict: Testashadow

Race 6

Quackerjack can press on from a wide draw and join Taikomochi in the lead of the million-dollar affair. El Dorado Dreaming doesn’t need to be too far off them at the mile and she’s ready to peak third up, as does Luvaluva from a similar spot in running. Military Zone gets the drop in class he needs.

Verdict: El Dorado Dreaming

Race 7

This is Seasons’ first go at 1000m. She’s handled 1200m fresh before and with the expected tempo on here, that works in her favour, as does the apprentice claim. Star Fall is the major threat if he doesn’t get caught in a speed battle.

Verdict: Seasons

Race 8

Poetic Charmer can press on from a wide draw and race handily. He’s trialled well in preparation for his return. Americana Magic should give him a cart around but won’t be easy to pass, while Trumbull’s racing pattern may leave him with a little too much to do.

Verdict: Poetic Charmer

Race 9

Charretera should press forward from the outside gate to take the lead. If he’s made to work hard then Destiny’s Own, who beat him home last time (chasing Outrageous) could come over the top. Final Award can improve with luck.

Verdict: Destiny’s Own
