Rail Position: True
Dual Track Meeting: N
Track Type: Turf
Track Condition: Good 4
Weather: Overcast

Race 1

Two debutantes and a 200 day Waller resumer that is hard in the market. Fun fun fun! Still Single looks more of a 1200m type, will he spot them too much of a start? Neither of the first starters have done enough to suggest they can beat the toppy, though. Try Nations and Down To Earth the potential leaders to target at odds here.

Verdict: Try Nations small win bet

Race 2

Good maiden this, fitting of a Wednesday race. Not convinced there is much speed though. Cock Match comes across to sit outside Amiens, perhaps. It is d-day for Hulk who gets J-Mac jumping on and a nice map stalking from the low draw. Brandenburg might want further.

Verdict: Hulk

Race 3

Stellar Impact will do her best to hold the rail from Porky Pies and Breakdance. Worst case she probably just lobs in behind and will prove hard to beat. Terwilliker sometimes goes forward, will today be that day? Market watch. Poulton Le Sands is the roughie. Don’t love the map but the horse looks a touch untapped, still.

Verdict: Stellar Impact

Race 4

Miss Einstein will have plenty of attention here. She maps to get right back but a Dundeel mare getting beyond 1300m for the rest time off a nice win is rather exciting. They’ve found the key to Fast Talking who is racing consistently. Leningrad the fit leader to keep an eye on if the track is favouring those on pace.

Verdict: Miss Einstein

Race 5

Regal Stage can lead this lot I think and if he does will take some catching. Loved the win first up, there is more to come. Pancho looked a miler in his last prep. Dynamic enough to win here but given the sticky map looking elsewhere. Full Recognition coming off a forgive run can bounce back. Tommy Berry likes to ride them cute and he maps exactly that, three back the fence. Will take a good ride and some luck from there.

Verdict: Regal Stage

Race 6

Really open race.Genuine tempo expected over 1100m. Human Nature should have no issues with 1100m but will need to bounce well to come across and take that leading position they have done at his previous three starts. D’Oro Rain can get the suck run behind the speed and show something fresh. Burning Crown is ultra consistent and maps well. Default pick to run top three!

Verdict: Burning Crown EW

Race 7

Busy speed map in the last race of the day. Like the run that Major Wager figures to get on the rail. Can improve off plain effort fresh. Sister Sledge at her third stable in three preps and five starts, she will be near the speed you’d imagine. Talented enough. Maggie Miss comes back in trip 100m and Tim Clark might be able to control this from outside the leader a-la Nash Rawiller from the late 2000s.

Verdict: Maggie Miss
