Meeting: Warwick Farm
Date: 18th September
Rail: True
Weather: Light showers
Track Condition: Good 4
Track Expectations: It really comes down to how much rain we get here. At the moment the track is ‘perfect’ but there could be a bit of rain between now and jump time. Monitor closely.

Race 1

Good little race this. Entente we highlighted a few weeks back as a promising horse. Promotions is hard fit with J-Mac on while Dancing Gidget may need some luck from that low draw but Tommy Berry is probably the right jockey to ride pretty for luck in that situation.

Race 2

There is a stack of runners who will eventually break their maidens in this race. Hulk looks well placed to break the duck. Expect he settles in the first few from the low draw. Regimental Band is a nice horse who will break the maiden this preparation for sure. Akari a big chance as well.

Race 3

Rather uninspiring staying race. Fairlight presents fresh and has ability but Agosto looks the one. Settles in behind the leader and continues on his winning way for James McDonald.

Race 4

Erno was a horror show for punters last start. James McDonald sticks and the horse looks incredibly hard to beat. Tommy Berry takes Full Recognition forward from barrier seven and he is a good each-way chance.

Race 5

Avon River freshened up and back in grade is a positive. Has won this track and trip as well. Jay Jay D’ar well placed but from that barrier likely they ride conservatively. Got Your Six the on-pace horse punters will target.

Race 6

Master Of Wine has wins in him this prep. Did enough first-up and well in this time around. The Promise comes back in grade while Judge Judi gets such a cruisy run near the speed. Hard to see it missing a place.

Race 7

Big field to finish the quaddie. Up Trumpz in the mix but certainly no world beater. Human Nature should be fit and ready to peak now. Will make its own luck near the speed and is the early top pick.
